And I won't know which way I will fall until I read it myself!

I had planned on passing my copy of this book onto a friend, but after a couple of months I realised that I couldn't give it away. It had got under my skin.

I wonder where you will end up?

And yes you may link my review to your post - thank you in advance for the shout-out 😊Bronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11110584237325026052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483877654474162845.post-67589280104260409032017-05-22T17:57:48.458+10:002017-05-22T17:57:48.458+10:00I did not read your reveiw yet. I thought I would never revisit this book, but as time has gone by, my affection for the story and it's brilliance have actually grown. I suspect I may reread this now at some time in the distant future.
It's a flawed story, and the patriarchal intellectualism that Stegner was a part of during the 70's plays a big part in that.

I did a bit of research on Mary Foote at the end of my review that you might like to read when you're finished.Bronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11110584237325026052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483877654474162845.post-3516451061215524312017-05-22T07:59:54.895+10:002017-05-22T07:59:54.895+10:00I highly recommend it Anne, although it won't ...I highly recommend it Anne, although it won't suit/interest everyone.
I'm looking forward to reading more of her work now.
