I will certainly pick up any others I come across, too. I'm keeping an eye on it.Silviahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17249978624747684879noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483877654474162845.post-61527185182739881882020-01-12T18:40:06.237+11:002020-01-12T18:40:06.237+11:00Thanks Liz. I'm keen to read more work by Evaristo - do you have a recommendation or two?Bronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11110584237325026052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1483877654474162845.post-43404507467589705062020-01-12T18:32:32.794+11:002020-01-12T18:32:32.794+11:00I loved this and while it was officially just part...I loved this and while it was officially just part of my top 10, it was my book of the year, really. And yes, I do think they could have found other words to celebrate Atwood while giving Evaristo the prize on her own. Matthew has just started reading is so I'm excited about discussing it all over again with him, and it seems all my friends who haven't read it already are now reading it. I have one of her older books on my TBR, too, and can't wait to get into that.

I'm planning on reading more diversely this year, too! I read 12% books by POC and that didn't seem enough. Bought some super books on other people's experiences and lives at the end of 2019 and am glad to be working my way towards those.
