Which one should I read next?
That's a really interesting list for this year's Stella Prize.
ReplyDeleteI've read Garner's This House of Grief and London's The Golden Age, which I've reviewed at http://maureenhelen.com/golden-age-joan-london-review for the Australian Women Writers Challenge 2015. I thoroughly recommend it.
The Golden Age is one of the 3 books on my TBR pile - I keep hearing wonderful things about it.
DeleteIt's a bit sad that I haven't read a single book from this list!! I would like to hear which ones you would recommend when you're done with them. Although I have to say that the cover for Heat and Light alone is really intriguing me!
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of the books either, but at least I recognized Alice Pung's name. Her "Her Father's Daughter" is on my non-fiction list for this year.
ReplyDeleteNo media coverage about the Stells Prize here in The Netherlands.
ReplyDeleteI will go through the longlist......thanks for the information!
I haven't read any, but have meant to read quite a few... The 3 you've read are all very tempting, as well as Laurinda, Nest and The Golden Age. I have now bought the Helen Garner, and planning on reading it soon. I've got Only the Animals out from the library at the moment and hoping to start it soonish.
