I do like to read my CC Spin with another if I can, although it's getting harder to find common titles as many of us move onto our second or even third Spin Lists.
If you spot a book match or author match with your list, please let me know before the magic number is selected on Sunday, I can then tweek my list to suit.

No crossovers with my list but I hope you and Margaret get Little Dorrit - mainly because I always end up with monsters and I don't see why I should be the only one, but partly because I read it a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it... ;) Good luck!

ReplyDeleteI was just assembling my list. No direct matchups possible but I've also got two Willa Cathers--I'll slot them in to match.
When I discovered (via the classics club) a number of years ago that Wilkie Collins had a huge backlist of books besides the two that everyone knows, I went a little crazy and acquired quite a few of them. Have now read No Name and want to read more.
DeleteYou have some great ones there - I don't have any crossovers, but have enjoyed Little Dorrit, The Tempest and A Study in Scarlet - all many years ago. I also love Wilkie Collins and Katharine Susannah Prichard, but haven't read the ones on your list. Good luck!

DeleteThe only other book on your list I've read is The Dead Secret - I don’t think it is in quite the same league as The Moonstone or The Woman in White, but it is still a good mystery.

No Name was pretty good too, but I haven't read one of his earlier ones yet, so I did wonder if you could see the difference or the development of the writer as he went along.

DeleteThe Dead Secret is fun, though not as good as Collins' better known books. The only other two I've read are A Study in Scarlet and The Tempest. There are a lot of books on your list that I'm not familiar with at all, so I would be interested to hear more about them. Good luck!
